How does it work ?
The treatment process always begins with an initial assessment (psychopathological assessment), where an overview over the most relevant symptoms is established . This takes about 90 minutes of talking, and 30 minutes of documentation for the legally required journal keeping.
For comparatively delimited entities like anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, the diagnose can often be established and the treatment can often be planned at the first consultation.. If you haven't recently had an ECG and blood tests, they will usually be necessary before any medical treatment can be started.
If the symptoms appear to be part of a more complex and extensive nature such as ADHD, autism, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, then a specialized diagnostic interview is required. This usually takes about 120 minutes of diagnostic personal interview, 60 minutes of analysis, 60 minutes of documentation, 45 minutes of feedback and 15 minutes of documentation. Thus 5 hours in total. After this, a treatment course can be started.
Below, 2 examples are given of how typical treatment courses often look like.
For example, a standard ADHD diagnostic process would typically cost 17.500 kroner. This includes a complete state of the art assessment (full psychopathological assessment and full DIVA-5 diagnostic interview) and complete written documentation, conducted 100% by a medical specialist in psychiatry (me), ensuring the highest level of transparency and validity.
